A growing small business, our mission is to provide the best service and product possible. Our owner, Stephen, is employed as a corporate pilot in addition to his duties at Power Audio Solutions. Stephen's current setup includes a McIntosh 275 amp as well as a Citation I preamp. Three Dynaco Mark III's and a McIntosh C-29 round out the current stable. Bozak B302A's are utilized for speakers.

Our stock is obtained direct from various manufactures or distributors, so you can be sure your product is genuine. We screen each tube for leaks, gas, and life; we also match tubes using a Digital Maximatcher and a Hickok 6000A tube tester.

In an effort to differentiate ourselves from simple tube resellers, we've developed some practices and invested in equipment that will serve the interests of our customers:

We employ a Hickok 6000A tube checker in our day to day operations. Hickok has always been on of the most trusted names in tube related test equipment. The 6000A has been converted to solid state operation, utilizes an upgraded circuit, contains meter protection mods, and will also read plate current via digital multimeter. It was upgraded/modified and serviced by a gentleman with over 30 years experience as a physicist and electronics engineer, who also runs a tube tester repair and calibration service. Our 6000A will provide readings on par with the laboratory grade 539 series. It is, perhaps, one of a kind.

For power tube matching we use the MaxiMatcher Digital Tube Tester. This unit applies 325v or 400v current, allowing your tubes to be tested using current levels that better represent real world operating conditions. Power tubes are then burned in using Maxi test equipment. In cases where matching has been performed at the factory, we check and verify that it is within tolerances. Where factory matching is off (and we've seen it vary by as much as 20% !) we re-match tubes as quantity allows or return them.
